  • The Lighthouse
    • The landmark Buffalo Launch Club Lighthouse was taken by barge to the Island shoreline in 1931 by the Fix brothers, and eventually re-erected and later sold to Mike Steffen who used it as a trophy room next to his home on what is now part of the Launch Club property. The lighthouse was originally known as the Niagara Upper Range Rear Light and stood at Niagara Street and Busti Avenue in Buffalo. Club members in the late 1990s completely refurbished its exterior.

Although members and visitors are not permitted to enter the tower, it's iconic exterior provides a beautiful backdrop for wedding ceremonies and provides great photo opportunities for families, friends, graduations, proms, and other important occasions to provide long lasting memories!

The Buffalo Launch Club is a member of the United States Lighthouse Society and welcomes hundreds of visitors each year. The Lighthouse Passport Program provides enthusiasts the opportunity to help preserve lighthouses as well as a wonderful way to keep a pictorial history of their lighthouse adventures.
